You may incur additional expenses beyond the regular room and board rates or the charges below. The following charges may be assessed depending on the student's final room assignment and pay plan:
Hewett and Manchester Halls are the location for nine-month housing. Students living in Hewett and Manchester Halls are assessed a mandatory, nonrefundable $100 per semester charge because these halls open three days before the other residence halls and remain open throughout all University break periods (Thanksgiving, semester, and spring breaks).
Wilkins Hall remains open during Thanksgiving break. All Wilkins hall residents are required to pay an additional $30 charge in the fall whether or not they stay over break.
When completing a residence hall contract, new students are asked to submit a $300 housing initial payment. The following is the breakdown of how that payment is used:
