The Hewett-Manchester area is a short distance from Milner Library and the Bone Student Center. It features two, 18-story residence halls along with a variety of Themed Living-Learning Communities, an outdoor basketball court, and the Visor Tutoring Center. All provided room furniture is moveable with beds that can be lofted and bunked to various heights. Hewett-Manchester has nine-month housing, which means it remains open through all university breaks.
Students living in Hewett-Manchester tend to dine at the Watterson Dining Commons, which is a short walk just a block away. In addition, there are many different locations on and off campus that serve as close locations for students.

Refrigerators are permitted in students rooms, but must not exceed more than 4.5 cubic feet and do not draw more than 1.5 running amps. University Housing Services allows students to bring their own refrigerators but does not rent or provide them.
